The TTR6 switch provides optimum mechanical and electrical characteristics through the use of high-conductivity, high-strength aluminum alloys and the high-pressure silver-to-copper contact point construction. The drive insulator stack rotates on a greaseless rotor bearings. No maintenance is required. . . ever. The TTR6 also has an enclosed compression-spring blade counterbalance provides weather protection for the spring. The TTR6 is supplied on a galvanized structural steel channel to insure rigidity.
The TTR6 vertical break switch is used where high amperage or high KV are required. The TTR6 is available in ratings up to 800KV, and 5000 A and can be either manually or motor gang operated through 500KV. The TTR6 has been seismically tested.
